I remember being in the Navy on a Med Cruise and hearing this song and knew that it was the perfect way of telling this girl that it was over. The relationship had fizzled and trying to talk to her was futile. Looking into her eyes, used to kill me. She had this look that would just eat right through me. When she received the recording, you best know that she was on a plane and in Norfolk faster than I can say the alphabet backwards; demanding an explanation. Didn't work, it was over.
